花鳥使では、昨年から世界のクラフトビールをご提供しています。
2.3か月に1度、数銘柄を入れ替えるようにしています。
売れようが、売れまいがマスターの好みのビールは残し
好みではないビールは、家内と二人で飲みつくしています（苦笑）
これを何度か繰り返してきたので、今ある銘柄は、かなりマスターの好みに合ったものになっています。
あと2回くらい入れ替え戦をやれば、パーフェクトです。
それ以降は、現在18銘柄あるクラフトビールの種類が増えて行く事になるでしょう（(笑)）
この入れ替え戦で、最近花鳥使のレギュラーの座に就いた
ブリュードッグと言うビールがあります。
スコットランドのメーカーで、2007年創業の新しい会社です。
そのブリュードッグが作るＩＰＡが『世界一のＩＰＡ』と言う評判をネットで見かけて仕入れてみました。
巷ではＩＰＡがブームだったようですが、マスターはあまりＩＰＡが好みではありません。
と言うのも、『インドの青鬼』を興味本位で飲んで以来
ＩＰＡに対して良い印象がなかったからです。
ご存知の方も多いと思いますが、インドの青鬼は超絶に苦いのです。
ビール好きの家内も飲めなかった程です。
なのに、なのに、このＩＰＡを仕入れたかと言いますと
なんでも、ブリュードッグがコスト度外視で世界一のＩＰＡを目指したのが
このビールだったからです。
ブリュードッグが作り上げたＩＰＡとは
BREWDOG PUNK IPA
通常のラガービールに比べ
2.5倍の麦芽と40倍のホップを使用し
熟成期間は8倍と拘りに拘り抜いたＩＰＡなのだそうです。
そこまで拘っているのなら仕入れないわけにはいきません。
半信半疑で飲んでみましたが、
文句なしに美味い、美味い、美味すぎるーーーー
もちろんＩＰＡですからそれなりの苦みはありますが
ホップ由来のフルーティーな香りと独特のコクと甘味で
その苦みが気になりません。
気にならないどころか心地いい。
もう病みつき。
そうマスターは、パンクに夢中なのです。

BREWDOG HOP ROCKER
ＩＰＡとラガーを融合させた新感覚のビールだそうです。
限定販売のようで次回の販売はないそうです。

Since last year we have offered customers various craft beers from various countries.
We serched the internet and found ones we cannot find at the supermarket, bought, and tried them to select good ones.
We keep the beers which suit our taste at Kachoshi, and we exclude the ones which we do not care.
It is just like a survival contest of beers.
Now we have 18 kinds of beers which have survived our severe eliminating selection.
We are planning to increase the number when we find good ones.
One of the beers which has won the regular position in Kachoshi showcase is BrewDog.
BrewDog is a Scottish brewery founded in 2007. I found an article saying that the IPA BrewDog produces is the best beer in the world, so I bought some and tried one. And it tastes sooooo good!
I know that IPA(Indian Pale Ale) has become very popular in Japan recently, but actually I do not care for IPA.
I once tried the Japanese IPA called "Indo no Aooni (Indian blue devil)"....it was too bitter! Even my wife who loves beers could not finish it. So I did not have a good impression of IPA.
However I came to know that BrewDog is making great efforts to create the best IPA in the world, leaving cost out of account.
Punk IPA, the BrewDog have created aiming the tof of the world, uses 2.5 times more malt and 40 times more hop than normal lager beer, and takes 8 times longer aging pariod than normal lager beer.
Why not offer you such a beer created with a lot of time, cost and effort.
The taste of Punk IPA is just perfect for me. Of course it has bitter taste which is unique to any IPA, but the bitterness does not bother me at all thanks to its fruity yet rich flavor comig from hop. It contains slight sweetness, which makes its bitterness not annoying but refreshing!
Now I am crazy for Punk IPA!
The orange can in the picture is BrewDog Hop Rocker.
This one is sold during a limited period, and once it has finished, they do not brew any more of this kind.
It tastes bitter than Punk IPA. It is blended IPA and lagar.
